o A minimum of three years related experience in HVAC sales or equivalent
combination of education and experience
o High School Diploma or Equivalent
o Neat, clean appearance and punctuality
o Friendly and clear articulation/communication skills
o Ability to act under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skills in order to
ensure jobs are completed properly and in a timely fashion
o Proficient computer skills; ability to learn a new CRM in order to navigate to
customer files, schedules, etc. and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as
standard office equipment such as printer, scanner, copier and fax machines

o Ability to multi-task and be well-organized; able to manage priorities and workflow
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
o Acute attention to detail

o Answer customer calls regarding their questions and concerns about quotes, equipment,
our technicians and company, etc.
o All communication must be done in a friendly and cheerful manner
o Enter information and appointments into computer software/spreadsheets
o Perform typical administrative duties of an estimator, including but not limited to, typing
letters and proposals, contacting customers, properly using our CRM to document work
performed or conversations had with customers, creating spreadsheets etc.
o Ability to keep up with multiple daily appointments, focusing on geographical location in
order to be efficient and timely
o Ability to generate quotes in a timely fashion and perform daily follow-ups with
customers to ensure they received quotes and answer questions
o Ability to generate monthly sales reports based on information collected
o Gain and maintain a basic level of knowledge of all areas of HVAC, including indoor air
quality, and plumbing and electrical components
o Discuss the importance and benefits of annual preventative maintenance contracts
o Maintain a neat and organized desk.
o Adhere to all handbook policies
o Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors

Our home comfort advisers are responsible for contributing to creating and maintaining an
organized, efficient, and profitable sales department with a focus on support & service to
our installation and service departments. This is considered a “front line” position where
interacting both verbally and non-verbally, and directly with customers. Maintaining a high
level of professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, subcontractors and all
staff members is mandatory.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the
workplace.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to
write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from managers, co-workers, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, service and material
total costs.


Ability to solve practical problems and have the ability to follow instructions furnished in
written or oral form.
